Christmas delight - gingerbread cake

Nothing better than the smell of Christmas spices around the house: nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves.




Ingredients: 400ml milk, 2tbsp honey, 50g butter, 400g flour, 200g sugar, 2tbsp cocoa, 1tsp ground cinnamon, 1tsp ground cloves, 1/2 nutmeg (freshly grated), 1tsp baking powder, a pinch of pepper, icing sugar for decoration.


Pour the milk, honey and butter in a pan and heat gently until the honey and butter have melted.


Mix all the dry ingredients.



Pour the milk mix on top and stir well.






Pour everything into a baking tray and bake for 30-35 min. Test it with a toothpick.
