Poached pears

Low fat dessert. Plus it is very easy to prepare :)
Ingredients: pears, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, vanilla essence.
Peel the pears, leaving the stalk intact. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the pears, and boil until the pears are soft, probably 10-15 min.
Remove from the heat, transfer the pears and liquid to a bowl and set aside.
You can serve it with ice cream or chocolate topping.
