Apple clafoutis

Clafoutis is a baked French dessert of fruit, traditionally black cherries, arranged in a buttered dish and covered with a thick flan-like batter. The clafoutis is dusted with powdered sugar and served lukewarm. 
 

Ingredients: 3 apples, 75 g flour (you can also use gluten free flour), 75 g cornflour, 125 g sugar, 5 eggs, 500 ml milk, 1 tsp vanilla essence, grease for the dish.
 
Preheat the oven at 170 C.
Grease an oven dish with either butter or oil.
Mix in a large bowl the flour, cornflour, sugar and vanilla.
 
 
Add the eggs.
 
 
Whisk for a few minutes to break the eggs then add the milk. 
 
 
Whisk until well incorporated. Pour in the oven dish.
 
 
Peel the apples and cut them into cubes. Arrange them on top of the milk mix.
 
 
Bake in the oven for 30 - 40 min, until golden brown.
