Brown cob

"Cob" is the Anglo-Saxon word for head :).

Ingredients: 300 g strong wholemeal flour, 1 tsp dried yeast, 200 ml water, 1 tsp salt. 

Put the flour in a bowl. Make a well and add the yeast. Pour 100 ml over and let it rest for 15 min.



Put the rest of the water and salt and knead for 10 min.



Shape into a ball. Put it back into the bowl, cover and let it rest for 1 - 2 hours.


Preheat the oven at 200° C.
Bake for 15 - 20 min.
