Soda bread

This is a loaf that you can knock up in less then an hour when you have unexpected guests or when you want some lovely warm bread with your meal.

Ingredients: 450 g wheat flour, 1 tsp baking soda, pinch of salt, 200 ml skimmed milk, 200 ml fat free yoghurt.

Preheat the oven at 230° C.
Put the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Add the milk and yoghurt.


Mix everything into a dough. Knead for 10 min.
Give it any shape you want.


 Bake at 230° C for 10 min, then lower the heat to 200° C. Bake for 15 min.
