Stir frired pasta with tomato sauce

I love a nice, warm, cheesy :) bowl of pasta. As a trick: always cook the pasta with the sauce for a few min, like this you make sure the pasta is well covered with sauce. I used a wok, because it heats up beautifully, and the onion is fried with a little bit of burn all around. Yum! 

Ingredients: 1 onion - finely sliced, 3 garlic cloves - sliced, 3 sage leaves, 400 g canned plum tomatoes, 200 g pasta, salt, pepper, oil, any type of hard cheese - grated, to serve.

Heat the oil until it is very hot. Add the onion and garlic.


After 1 min, add the sage. Cook until the onion is softened.


Add the tomatoes.

Cook until the water from the tomatoes is reduced, about 10 - 15 min.In the meantime cook the pasta, make sure is al dente!
Add the pasta to the wok, stirring it regularly so that all the pasta gets sauce.


Taste for seasoning. Serve warm with a nice topping of cheese.
