Chicken schnitzel stuffed with cheese and ham

Ingredients: 3 pieces of chicken breast, flour, 2 handfuls of cornflakes, 1 egg, 3 slices of cheese, 3 slices of ham.

Slice the chicken breast through middle (do not cut all the way through). Tenderise with steak tenderiser. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Lay the chicken out flat, place a slice of cheese and ham on top, then roll the chicken, ham, and cheese together and secure with a tooth pick.




Whisk the egg in one bowl. In a separate bowl, crush the cornflakes. Put some flour in yet another bowl.



Bring a frying pan with cooking oil to temperature. Taking each piece of chicken in turn, coat first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the cornflakes.





Place the coated chicken in the frying pan and cook evenly for 25 min on medium heat.
