Spaghetti bolognese

Ingredients: 1 onion, 5 garlic cloves, 4 stripes of smocked bacon, 650 g of minced beef, 200 ml red wine, 2 cans of chopped tomatoes, 100 g sun dried tomatoes, 500 g spaghetti (gluten free if you are celiac), parmesan or hard cheese to grate on top.

Chop the onion, garlic and bacon.
Fry them in a large pot or pan with 1 tbsp of oil.


Stir in from time to time to cook everything evenly.
 
 
When the bacon starts to get golden, add the meat, broken down as much as possible.
 
 
Stir in occasionally, and cook until the meat turns brown.


Add the red wine.

 
Add the chopped sun dried tomatoes and the chopped tomatoes.

 
 
 
Cook on low heat for 45 min. If it gets too dry, add some water to help it going.
Cook the pasta according the packet.
Mix half of the sauce with the pasta. Serve the pasta in a bowl, with more of the sauce on top and some grated cheese.
