Battered cauliflower and broccoli

Ingredients: 1 cauliflower, 1 broccoli, 1 egg, 20 ml milk, flour, salt, pepper, chilli.

Mix the egg and milk. Start adding flour until you obtain the consistency of a double cream. Season and add dried chilli.
Heat oil in a pan.
Cut the vegetables into smaller pieces. Pass them through the batter. Add them to the pan when the oil is very hot.




Beware that the broccoli cooks very quick, so keep an eye on it.
The cauliflower will take about 5 - 7 min.
Do not forget to remove them from the pan, and leave them to rest on paper towels to absorb the excess of oil.
Serve with a yogurt and garlic dip.
